Marietta and the rest of Cobb County are some of the busiest places in metro Atlanta for garage, yard and estate sales. This page collects the Cobb sales and events we mapped for the weekend of Oct. 17-18, 2026, what's coming up in Marietta, and tips for planning a sale-hunting morning. Plans change, so confirm with the host or organizer before you drive.

Tips for sale hunting in Marietta and east Cobb
- Go early on Saturday. Furniture, tools and antiques go first. Estate sales often run Friday to Sunday, and prices can drop on the last day.
- Bring cash and a helper. Many sellers take cash or payment apps, and big estate-sale pieces like dressers and dining sets usually need two people and a truck.
- Park the way the host asks. Many Cobb sales are in quiet subdivisions. Don't block driveways or mailboxes, and follow posted parking notes like "park on one side of the road."
- Plan a loop. East Cobb, Marietta Square, Smyrna and Kennesaw are close together, so a few stops plus a festival make an easy morning. Our best neighborhoods for yard and estate sales guide covers the rest of the metro.
